Between The Sea and Sand (She Waits)
She waits for me. Sand at my feet
Sun up above. She waits for me
The ocean waves are calling to her
But I just see her back through the window
She’s sailing out beyond what we hoped
To a place where I can’t go
She waits for me
Feel the tide. It never ever stays
Sand at my feet
We walk the line between the sea and sand
Sun up above
The night is endless in its border
She waits for me
The distance in a telephone line
The sound is thin and aching for static
We can’t talk most of the time
Too much to say, and no one hears
She waits for me
Nothing ever last forever
Sand at my feet
Moving through time as fast gets faster
Sun up above
It beats between the islands that we’ve made
She waits for me
Where have you gone love?
What did you see out there in the places where you lost me?
Keep saying you’ll be all right
We’ll both just be all right
But in the rooms we wait I hesitate to leave
In the gray of the room
The hours last in a sickness
It’s deeper now and can’t end too soon
Everything fades away

Luxury Memories
She don’t know what she’s doing in here
There’s a toxic tonic on the rise
It’s high and it’s hot and it’s spilling from her eyes
There are places to go but they’re sinking in the sand
Where luxury memories never see them again
Yeah, she’s been gone since she walked in through the door
The sirens call from other shores
She yearns to ride some highway round the bend
And damn the drag that’s slowing down her spin
The luxury memories never reach her again
Late at night beyond what he’d think
She turns against her idea of him
In there he is lost, like a radio song
Out of distance and well worth tuning away
The static trips the wires down the rails
Broken bits of broken hearts
Growing cold and lunging for the bend
She turns the dial and tunes another trend
The luxury memories lost once again
The luxury memories never see them again
Everything is gone cause it's going away

Fortresses of Love

Fortresses of Love
Why do you always have to go
Before the hero saves the show
When we both know it can be boring?
Half the time you just ran away
Though we prepaid yesterday
Well, The old reel keeps on turning round
Will they find a way despite what’s been written into the play?
There’s a wave of a mountain whose avalanche has choked the horizon
In circumstance with walls unexpected
“It gets lonely here on this moon”
Said the hero to his empty room
“There were times when this space was ignited bright”
Now the corners are grey suited weight
With a dull echo dance that she hates
Even the windows beg for a better view
Blue union eyes stared out of the window’s broken frame
To the long low road of desperate blame
It leads to nothing right when everything, when everything is wrong
And down the hill just past the busy station of malcontent
Lies change and all her shocking turbulence
She’ll drink you in then kick you down the road
To roughly come undone
Will they find a way despite what’s been written into the play?
There’s a wave of a mountain whose avalanche has choked the horizon
In circumstance with walls unexpected
There’s nothing in their arms but ideals
Of what they wish to see in the other
They take a breath as the dream tells a story
Of happiness in fortresses of love

Mobile Trees (Existential Song)
There is no meaning
Just what we inject
What was the fuel that turned you on me?
It corrupted our highways with loveless myth
What was the fuel that turned you on me?
There is no magic
It’s patterns and yearning
Just birth and death, the story between
A collision of purpose to win and loose
Just birth and death, the story between
Glacier strong
We are mobile trees looking for nourishment
Glacier strong
We are mobile trees looking for nourishment
We could win today in our silent poetry
Or get lost in the machine of our self
Caught in the hum of some meaningful purpose
We explain our way free
The random service you see as real
Frames the dying door we feel
Impermanence always pushing towards
My heels drag the scuffing floors
Glacier strong
We are mobile trees looking for nourishment
Glacier strong
We are mobile trees looking for nourishment
Glacier strong
We are burning trees looking for nourishment
I’m Glacier strong
I am burning trees looking for nourishment
